TheAssistive Technology Specialist will assist children and adults withdisabilities to participate more independently within their environment throughassistive technology including:
· Durablemedical equipment
· Positioningand mobility devices
Keyfunctions of this position include:
· Assistivetechnology demonstrations
· Trainingto customers on assistive technology
· Workingwith farmers, ranchers and agricultural workers with disabilities
Successfulcandidates should have the ability to recommend appropriate assistivetechnology, hardware and/or specialized software, experience conductingworkshops and training events, excellent written and oral communication skillsand work well with diverse individuals.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Must maintain a valid Kansas Driver’s License or abilityto access transportation.
