Clerical Positions  


Job Summary: Responsible for clerical support in the outpatient medical practice including, but not limited to, greeting patients and visitors in a prompt and courteous manner, obtaining new patient and insurance information, checking in return patients, and verifying all patient information is current. The Receptionist retrieves charge tickets from patients or reviews EMR and collects applicable fees at the point of service and counsels patients regarding accounts; schedules appointments, consults, handles phone services, and manages clinic records; verifies insurance coverage and appropriate referral information; enters patient demographics into computer system; prepares daily deposits, balancing per protocol; and provides clerical/administrative support as assigned.

    • Minimum Education
      • High School Graduate or GED
      • Additional coursework in the office/business field is preferred
      • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-9 or ICD-10 coding preferred
    • Minimum Experience
      • Two years office experience required.
      • Medical office experience preferred.

  • Physician Recruitment and Relations Coordinator.

    Position Summary: Performs a variety of duties related to the function and efficiency of the physician recruitment and development department. The physician recruitment and relations coordinator is responsible for supporting the physician recruiters, physician relations associates, and department director with clerical, marketing and report analysis efforts. Duties include word processing, filing, answering telephones, sourcing candidates, assisting with site visits, maintaining the recruitment database, and report analysis of physician relations referral database. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements: Minimum Education: Associates Degree. Minimum Experience: 2 years previous experience in marketing, public relations, or communications preferred. Prior experience with database management a plus. Physical Demands: Light physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 pounds). Manual dexterity and mobility. Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking. Working Conditions: Subject to many interruptions; pressure due to multiple deadlines. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Occasionally may be subjected to irregular hours (evenings/nights/weekends)

    Full Time Day Shift Monday-Friday 8a-5p 



    Position Summary: This position provides personalized customer service to all requestors in accordance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies and procedures, and federal and state statutes. Assists the physicians and other medical/hospital staff in completing chart documentation in accordance to guidelines, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the medical staff and CMS standards. Helps to provide patient information for patient care and must stay informed on current release of information requirements. Answers and responds to phone calls and chart requests. Performs assigned duties in the Electronic Medical Record related to record completion, scanning and archiving. Maintains position policy and procedures.

    Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: High School Diploma, Minimum Experience: 3 years of previous health information experience preferred

    Full Time Monday thru Friday Day Shift
