Position Summary: The medical technologist performs a variety of laboratory tests, procedures and related duties, in order to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease, by following established standards and practices. The medical technologist is responsible for the orderly processing of patient specimens during the assigned work shift. This includes specimen collection, testing, processing, and reporting of accurate results. Includes issue resolution in the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical phases. The technologist maintains active communication and strengthens collaborative relationships among the pathologists, medical staff, nursing units, their specific section, and other lab staff.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related field. Minimum Experience: Required clinical internship in a MT/MLS approved program Required Registration/License/Certification: MT(ASCP) OR MLS(ASCP)

Respiratory Therapist
Position Summary: 
This position is responsible for independently performing respiratory care procedures which requires the ability to interpret physician orders, assess patient needs, deliver prescribed therapy and evaluate patient response. This includes invasive procedures that may be performed with minimal supervision and minor assistance in patient care units and critical care areas. Therapists will serve in a consulting role by communicating suggestions to other members of the clinical team regarding the respiratory care delivered to patients in all areas of the hospital. The position requires the ability to respond promptly to changes in workload and make adjustments in assignments as needed to achieve optimal productivity, efficacy and quality patient care.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Education; Associates degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program.  Minimum Experience;1 year Respiratory Care experience preferred.  Required Registration/License/Certification; Current Kansas license or eligible for Kansas License, Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.

Sleep Center Technician

Position Summary: 

The Sleep Center Technician works under the general supervision of the medical director and the Sleep Center Manager; is able to help provide comprehensive evaluation sleep studies and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve Polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. A Staff Sleep Technician can perform the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Education; Associates degree in Respiratory Care or a healthcare related field. Minimum Experience;1 year sleep technology experience preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification; Current Kansas Respiratory Therapy CRT license, BLS certification to be obtained within first 90 days of employment

Radiology Technologist

Position Summary: The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic medical radiographic procedures on all patient populations (neonate through geriatric) and exhibits superior levels of customer service. The technologist effectively operates radiographic equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department, Emergency Department, Operating Room, or at the patient's bedside). The technologist explains procedures to the patient, demonstrates appropriate patient positioning, and obtains optimum views of specified anatomy. The technologist adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines. The technologist demonstrates effective radiation safety practices and assists the Radiologist, when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis. The technologist may also perform various other duties as assigned by the Radiology Supervisor or Director of Radiology.

Position Qualifications:  Minimum Education; Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Minimum Experience; Registered or registry eligible Radiologic Technologist. Required Registration/License/Certification; American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or graduate student eligible for exam, Kansas License for Radiology Technology, Basic Life Support certification will be accepted from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider), or successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.

Physical Therapist

JOB SUMMARY:  Evaluates patients, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the professional practice of Physical Therapy. Works closely with Occupational Health Physicians to advance the practice of Occupational Medicine in the community and region.

REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Masters of Physical Therapy, Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred. Minimum Experience: Hospital experience preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification: Current Kansas Physical Therapist license or eligible for licensure. Mobile Consumer Applications Coordinator

Position Summary: The Mobile Consumer Applications (MCA) Coordinator is dedicated to the optimization and maintenance of the organization's customer facing Internet based and mobile technologies. This role is responsible for updating website content; designing new web product; selection, development, and installation of mobile consumer applications. The MCA Coordinator works closely with internal and external customers, vendors, and associates to design, implement, and support Internet/Intranet/Mobile oriented business goals and projects. This role may engage with external business partners to continually enhance the SRHC Internet/Mobile strategy. Occupational Therapist

Position Summary: This position is responsible for the provision of occupational therapy services for those patients primarily ages 0-3 years in the Infant Child Development (ICD) program who demonstrate delays or deficits in activities of daily living (including play), neuromuscular, sensory-intergrative, cognitive, or psychosocial abilities. Plans, organizes and implements occupational therapy services for patients and families in the ICD program including comprehensive assessment, development of treatment plan, delivery and documentation of service, education, consultation, and discharge/transition planning.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Education-Bachelors of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. Minimum Experience- One year of experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification- Kansas Occupational Therapy License. Valid Kansas Driver’s License. Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.

Position Summary: Under the supervision and direction of the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment and instruction for delegated patients.

Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating activities and supervising physician office staff. Responsible for accurately processing patient billing. Responsible for efficient operation of the clinic assigned.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Education- High School or equivalent. Requires two years of formal education in business management or similar course of study (four to five years experience in physician clinic may be substituted for this educational requirement). Minimum Experience- Two years of supervisory experience in related medical setting. Two years experience in accounts receivable, patient billing, medical records, or medical office functions preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification- N/A
