Respiratory Therapist RRT
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for independently performing respiratory care procedures which requires the ability to interpret physician orders, assess patient needs, deliver prescribed therapy and evaluate patient response. This includes invasive procedures that may be performed with minimal supervision and minor assistance in patient care units and critical care areas. Therapists will serve in a consulting role by communicating suggestions to other members of the clinical team regarding the respiratory care delivered to patients in all areas of the hospital. The position requires the ability to respond promptly to changes in workload and make adjustments in assignments as needed to achieve optimal productivity, efficacy and quality patient care.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: Associate degree in respiratory Care from an accredited program. Minimum Experience: 1 year Respiratory Care experience preferred. .Required Registration License/Certification: Current Kansas license or eligible for Kansas license. Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.

Clinical Dietitian Lead
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assessing appropriateness of diet and supplemental feedings, application of nutrition principles and consultation techniques for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Maintains a positive rapport with medical and healthcare staff. Assist director with advice on evaluations, department projects, work assignments, menu selections. Represents dietitian’s area during inspections.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Dietetics or Nutritional management.
Required Registration License/Certification: Current Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Current Licensure with the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.
Required Experience: Two years of clinical experience
Preferred Experience: Prefer candidate with experience in supervising/leading others.
Medical Technologist
JOB SUMMARY:
The medical technologist is responsible for the orderly processing of patient specimens during the assigned work shift. This includes specimen collection, testing, processing, and reporting of accurate results. The position includes issue resolution in the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical phases. The technologist maintains active communication and strengthens collaborative relationships among the pathologists, medical staff, nursing units, their specific section, and other lab staff. The coder assures quality and timely submission of demographic and diagnostic information for data retrieval and reimbursement. The position performs retrospective coding of diagnoses/procedures for all inpatient and outpatient records . Concurrent coding is performed for the Rehabilitation Unit to assist with timely filing of information needed for their respective payment systems. In addition, the coders monitor and process appeals on external DRG inquiries or outpatient coding changes and follow-up as needed. Assistance with other department needs is provided. An important and ongoing responsibility is the coding of diagnoses/procedures utilizing the current regulated Disease and Procedure Classification System(s). The position also assists with monitoring completion of final diagnoses to facilitate timely claim submission.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education and Experience: Prefer Associates Degree in Health Information Science from an accredited program in health information OR Certification in Coding. 1 years of current coding experience in a hospital setting. Knowledge of various computer software. Required Registration License/Certification: Registration as R.H.I.A or Accreditation as R.H.I.T. OR Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist
