The Exide-Salina facility is located in the Southern part of Salina in North-Central Kansas. The 429,950 square foot facility operates on a 24/7 basis with 12 hour shifts.  Exide-Salina is the largest capacity lead/acid battery manufacturing facility in the world!!

The Fabrication Manager position requires a take-charge individual that possesses excellent management and communication skills. Individual will work and communicate closely with all employees, supervisors and managers. Individual will possess excellent problem solving skills relating to electrical / controls, programming and robotics. Individual will drive continuous improvement by successfully transitioning Preventive Maintenance department to Predictive Maintenance, eliminating recurring equipment issues, identifying equipment quick change modulars, reducing of equipment setup and improving equipment rebuilds.

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Management preferred. 
Will consider a minimum of 6 years experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Supervision, OR a combination of education and experience.
Must have exceptional organizational skill, must have multi-tasking skills, must be a team-oriented person with exceptional communication skills.
